With Title Update 3.2 now live, including optimisation improvements, lots of quality-of-life additions like the increasing of your skill slots from 4 to 6, increased save slots and save system adjustments, Dragonsplague changes (making it easier to notice when a Pawn is afflicted, adding enhanced combat behaviors for afflicted Pawns and a new, simpler way to cure it), and the Dark Arisen Expansion arriving October 9, it’ll be one of the best times ever to discover, or get back into, Dragon’s Dogma 2, so let’s make an event of it!If you haven’t yet, you can check out the full Patch notes HERE.Whether that discovery is for the first time as a new player, or stepping back into the boots of your Arisen and continuing your adventure as an existing player to play and enjoy the game with all the sweeping improvements the team have made, as well as preparing for what awaits in the expansion.
Talking of preparation, here’s some guidance from Producer Oyama regarding the expansion content that was shared in our recent Community Q&A:The recommended starting level for Forsaken Dominion is 40, while that of Lost Rites is 20. That said, these recommendations apply only to the beginning of each content.
As players progress, the challenge gradually ramps up, and both experiences become increasingly demanding.Since both contents can be accessed early in the main story—simply by speaking with Brant at the tavern after arriving in Vernworth—players are free to challenge them even below the recommended level.
Ultimately, we’d like players to use those recommendations as a reference and choose their own path based on how they want to experience the game.And let’s not forget about our ever-faithful Pawns!
